Back in May my wife and I went for a hike in the Cultus lake area . It would have been impossible to miss all the fallen and broken trees from the previous winter`s storms . One has to wonder if last years drought had anything to do with trees of this size breaking . It was the twisted moss covered branches that first caught my attention .
